Breathing is life's building block and it's something that we spend little time thinking about... that is until you start running.

Then it suddenly becomes difficult. When you first start running it feels like you can't get enough air in and running around the block leaves you gasping for breath.

We understand what it's like to be at square one and know that having a group to belong to who know what it feels like is one of the keys to starting running and keeping going.

Running looks easy when you see other people do it. But the truth is when you are just starting out you are probably spending a lot more time walking.

We are here to tell you that it's okay to be walking. It's even what you should be doing if you want to get better at running.

In our experience most people need to slow down (I know you're probably thinking you can't go any slower), we'll explain further and give you more tips throughout the training sessions.

To get started in our beginner running group all you need to do is turn up to the Shoe Clinic at 6am on a Friday. Your first session is free and after that you can get a 10 session pass for $115.
