Swim sessions that match your ability.
Do you need to stop every 50m? We'll provide you with sets from 1 - 1.5 km in length with plenty of rest breaks.
Or were you a Club swimmer growing up? In that case the sets will be 2.5-4 km and you'll use time cycles with a greater mix of intensities.
Whatever your swim experience the swim sets are tailored to you.

RIDE FASTER

For the brand new cyclist, the seasoned pro, and everyone in between. Our bike sessions are suitable to use either indoors on a windtrainer or outdoors on the road. Whether you are new to cycling, commute regularly or have raced crits before, the program will be tailored to YOU. The length of the session, main set, and intensity of intervals varies with ability.

RUN LONGER

A plan for the marathon runner to the (currently) casual jogger.  With less skill and technique involved then swimming and cycling; running is perhaps the biggest indicator of where your current fitness is at. Your heart rate is a big focus in the run sessions.  Beginner runners will incorporate walking and slow jogging into their sessions to ensure they are training at the right intensity.

Frequently Asked Questions

Tri Goals

For the Sprint distance program you need to be able to swim a minimum distance of 400m without stopping (the speed doesn’t matter). For the Olympic distance program you should already be able to swim 800m before you need to take a break.

If your swimming isn’t at this level yet we recommend starting with the Be A Triathlete course.

Our focus in this course is to help you become more comfortable in the water, build your strength and improve your fitness. We focus on elements of your technique that will help you achieve these three things which are namely your breath control, head position and kick.

We don’t recommend focusing on swimming drills unless you are under the supervision of a swimming instructor. For you to make changes on your swimming stroke you need to be able to receive direct feedback on your stroke and be swimming atleast four times per week.

Tri Goals does not include a course-specific Facebook group, but we encourage you to join our The Locker Room group for feedback and support from peers, race updates, and much more!

We highly recommend using a heart rate monitor and/or windtrainer for some of the training sets but these are not a requirement.
